Grant Medical Center has maintained verification as a Level I Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons since 1993. 
As one of the busiest Adult Level I Trauma Centers in Ohio, we provide care to thousands of serious injury patients
regardless of severity or complexity.  Multidisciplinary response teams are available 24 hours a day to assess and stabilize patients in the trauma room.  As a Level 1 trauma center with specialized trauma surgeons, we focus heavily on prevention.
